New Location

Just a little quick peek at my last weekend session done at a new location. Thank you to Jenny for showing me where this beautiful place was located as we drove down a goat trail type road on the way to this beautiful beach. On the way out we stopped at Cape Manzama to get a few parting shots as the sun set even further.

While this location is beautiful it was not a very good location for families with small children. Even I feel tripping on one of the many rocks/shrubs within the rocks. Thankfully my camera was safe. The same can not be said for my tripod which was in my hand. It got smashed on the top making it unusable anymore. So if anyone has any recommendations for a good tripod, I need one now. I was glad to sacrifice the tripod for my hand which would have been sliced open by the sharp lava rock I was walking over.

One year later....

Happy Anniversary to FootSteps Photography. One year ago from this month is when FootSteps Photography officially began. I began with a two week old little boy, Carter. His mom let me begin practicing with posing and shoot someone else other than my own family.




So one year later....

Maternity Session

I love when clients bring ideas to the shoot and things that they want to incorporate into the shots that they love. Sunflowers brought a lot of warmth to the photos and they looked so good with the belly shots.





I could not resist the erge to post a few more pictures even though by now she has already had the baby.
